Currently, I am a 2012 Master of Fine Arts candidate in Jewelry + Metalsmithing at Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Rhode Island.
In 2008, I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Jewelry and Metalworking. I began studying jewelry in 2003 at the Fine Arts Center in Greenville, South Carolina and also studied jewelry at Alchimia, a contemporary jewelry school in Florence, Italy, in 2008.
Drawing is also important to my artistic career. Studying drawing abroad in Cuba, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and the Galapagos Islands helped develop that talent.
