Welcome

Drawing and painting have been strong influences on my life since childhood. My family always encouraged me to practice and learn about art. I have studied drawing and watercolor in several study abroad programs in Cuba, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and the Galapagos Islands. It is on these programs that I learned the importance of keeping sketchbooks and continued practice.

Recently, I have focused on architectural drawings. I enjoy playing with the perspective and detail found in architecture. I also explored watercolor as a way to redraw the jewelry I had created in my series, Lines of a City. I have found that watercolor allows me to abstract the imagery of objects I have already created.
